Clipboard Between Devices
A clipboard between devices is a shared text space that you can open from more than one device. Instead of copying text on one device and being stuck there, you save it once and open it again on your phone, computer, or tablet.
How to set up a clipboard between devices
- Open the clipboard and save your text.
- Copy the 4-character clipboard code.
- Enter the code on your second device and press Connect.
- Copy or edit the text from either device. Changes sync both ways.
Phone to computer
Save a note or link on your phone while you are away from your desk. When you are back at your computer, open the same clipboard and copy it into your work.
Computer to phone
Save an address, message, or code snippet on your computer before you leave. On your phone, open the clipboard and copy the text into the app you need.
Keep the same clipboard connected
Devices are recognized automatically. After the first connection, each device returns to the same clipboard on its next visit, so you do not need to set it up again.
